Built from the Ground Up
Lumberjacks Tree Service started with a single chainsaw, a pickup truck, and a simple idea: do what you say you’re going to do. When we first opened our doors back in 2012, we noticed a recurring problem in the Chattanooga tree care industry. It was plagued by “no-shows,” hidden fees, and messy yards left behind for the homeowner to clean up. We decided to be different. We wanted to build a company rooted in transparency, where a handshake still meant something.
We invested heavily in the absolute best safety equipment, certified training, and top-tier machinery to keep our crew secure and your property completely untouched. Our commitment to excellence quickly resonated with the local community, allowing us to grow from a small local crew into one of Southeast Tennessee’s most trusted tree management companies.
Today, Lumberjacks is a full-scale operation capable of tackling everything from delicate canopy pruning on historic oak trees, to heavy-duty land clearing, and massive emergency crane removals after severe storms. While our equipment has gotten bigger and our team has expanded, our core mission remains exactly the same as day one: providing honest, fair, and exceptionally safe arboricultural services to the neighborhoods that built us.

Tyler is a third-generation business owner right here in Chattanooga, Tennessee. His grandfather and father instilled his passion for entrepreneurship through the principles of hard work, integrity, and consistency. Tyler founded Lumberjacks Tree Service in 2012 and has become one of the most successful tree services in the Chattanooga Metropolitan Area.
