Insect & Pest Management

Elm Leaf Beetle Treatment

The Symptoms

“Skeletonized” leaves where the tissue between the veins is completely eaten away by larvae. This leads to brown, lacy foliage and premature leaf drop in the middle of summer.

Our Treatment Protocol

1. Diagnosis & Assessment

Our certified arborists inspect the tree to confirm the presence of the pathogen or pest, evaluate the overall vigor of the tree, and determine if it is a viable candidate for treatment.

2. Targeted Application

We utilize systemic soil or trunk injections, or targeted foliar sprays timed with the beetle’s lifecycle, to eliminate the feeding larvae and protect the canopy from further defoliation.

3. Ongoing Monitoring

We schedule your property in our system based on the required frequency (e.g., Annual, Bi-Annual) to ensure the protection barrier never drops.
