Lumberjacks Hardwood Center Provides Update Following Structure Fire

CHATTANOOGA, TN — Lumberjacks Hardwood Center confirms that a fire occurred at its facility located at 2420 E. Main Street, Chattanooga, TN 37404 late on December 16, 2025 (prior to midnight). A patrol officer noticed smoke coming from the warehouse and immediately called it in.

There were no injuries.

At this time, the office and warehouse are a total loss. The outside bays and stored materials appear to be intact, though the site remains under assessment. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Despite the damage, Lumberjacks Hardwood Center is already implementing a continuity plan. Phones remain operational and are being forwarded, allowing the team to continue assisting customers. The company is actively working to fulfill current orders and is continuing to accept new orders.

“As heartbreaking as this is, we are down, but not out,” said Julie Tyler, Marketing and Sales Manager. “We already have a plan in place to move operations and resume order fulfillment as quickly as possible. No employees are losing their jobs, and our sister company, Lumberjacks Tree Service, is fully operational and supporting the hardwood center as needed.”

Once cleared to proceed, Lumberjacks Hardwood Center will begin transitioning operations to the Lumberjacks Tree Service location at 4123 Cromwell Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421, with the goal of resuming operations from that location within a couple of weeks.
